General terms
The vehicle can be rented exclusively by a person (hereinafter referred to as "Renter") who is at least 21 years old and has a regular driver’s license for at least 2 years. Upon vehicle pickup, the renter must provide valid documents: passport or ID card and driver’s license, which will be photocopied and filed by an authorized person.
The renter must sign the contract, agreeing to the car's price, additional services, deposit rates, and return time. By signing the contract, the renter agrees to the general car rental terms presented on the final page of the contract.
Car rental price per day includes tax, CASCO insurance, and unlimited mileage (unless specified otherwise during promotional pricing). The daily rental rate covers 24 hours starting from the pickup time, with a 1-hour grace period for returns. Prices are quoted in Euros, with payment made in Serbian Dinars based on the buying rate of Intesa Bank Serbia at the time of vehicle pickup. Payment can be made in cash or by credit cards. We accept all major cards including VISA, MasterCard, and AMEX.
A deposit is required upon pickup and depends on the choice of vehicle, with a minimum of €200. The precise deposit amount will be provided when you make your reservation. The deposit can be paid in cash or a hold can be placed on your payment card. Permanent clients receive a reduced deposit rate. For renters under 25, the deposit is doubled, with a minimum of €500. Efex Rent A Car Belgrade reserves the right to increase the deposit amount or refuse rental. The deposit can be paid in any currency equivalent to the Euro exchange rate.
Insurance: The rental price includes comprehensive insurance with coverage equal to the deposit amount. In case of an accident or car theft, your liability is limited to the deposit paid upon pickup, with a minimum being €200. You can opt for full insurance at an additional cost, depending on the vehicle class, as shown on our website during booking. With full insurance and a police report, you won't be liable for any damage or theft after returning the documents and keys. Full insurance does not cover interior damages such as stains, burns, or scratches.
Leaving the territory of the Republic of Serbia in our car is possible with our permission and a surcharge of €30 for the tax. If you wish to travel outside the country, please let us know in advance. Otherwise, we will give out the seal of authorization for the vehicle, disabling that option.
Business hours for the branches at Belgrade Airport "Nikola Tesla" and Niš Airport "Konstantin Veliki" are from 07:00 to 24:00. Any pre-booked vehicle pickup or return 30 minutes before or after working hours is free of charge. Collection or return between 00:31 and 01:00 or from 03:45 to 06:30 is charged an additional €15 plus VAT. Picking up or returning the car between 01:00 and 03:45 is charged an additional €30 plus VAT.
Car delivery is available for all vehicles and locations. It’s charged additionally after the agreement.
Return vehicle at another location is available as well. For example, you can pick up the car at Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade and return it at Konstantin Veliki Airport in Niš or Morava Airport in Kraljevo.
